Flexilift Acquires Sole Distributorship Of Sellick Forklifts

Sellick Equipment of Canada is entering into an important new partnership in Australia, distributing equipment through Flexilift Australia Pty Ltd. Although Sellick Equipment is no stranger to Australasia, with equipment operating in Australia and Papua New Guinea, both Sellick and Flexilift are expecting rapid growth for its range of equipment. Sellick Equipment has become one of North America’s most innovative manufacturers in the field of rough-terrain materials handling equipment. This started in 1968, when founder Walter Sellick modified a Ford industrial tractor into his first 6,000 lb. forklift for outdoors use. Keeping at the forefront of the industry, Sellick introduced the integral one-piece frame concept across all model lines in 1975. 1987 saw the introduction of a new component designed series featuring various engine options, popular shift-on-the-go transmissions and See Thru roller masts. Since the TMF-55 quickly and easily loads itself on the back of a truck or trailer, it saves valuable cargo space and eliminates towing a trailer. Operational efficiency is increased, because the truck driver is also the operator of the forklift.
